CAS Inspiration

1. Ethiopis Tadesse:

My #1 CAS inspiration is my sister, Ethiopis Tadesse. When she finished her International Baccalaureate at Sandford School, she had the most hours in the whole school (+400 hours). Ethiopis is now 19 years old, enrolled at one of the top private universities for medicine.

Ethiopis is the definition of awesome! She’s extremely original and hard-working. She’s a bright girl, very smart, very talented. She stands out from the family because she’s so creative and just so… amazing! She inspired me to volunteer and to be organized. She’s responsible, she’s funny and she’s trustworthy – although sometimes she can be a little shy but she’s still so supportive to me which I appreciate. And her name is Greek – it means ‘Ethiopia’ plus she is obsessed with Greece (yeah we have this weird thing in our family where we just love countries). She just began her 1st year of medical school; she’s going to become a doctor! She’s the science nerd of our family B-)

Ethiopis volunteered at an NGO called MHO [Meseret Humanitarian Organization] when she was in IB1. In IB2, they offered her an internship. When she graduated from Sandford School, they hired her as the IT director of MHO. She works part time. She didn't study IT at university level but she had passion for it, and that’s what they saw.

I believe in people like her. Her story inspired me a lot

***** But no matter who I am, I will always appreciate my passion, my driving-force, my ultimate-motivator, my definitely-abnormal obsession my LOVE-like-no-other and
my one-and-only goal:

INDIA...You mean more than just a realm of dreams I long to fulfill. What you mean to me, LIFE itself doesn't dare to compare! :’) #WORD
